Abstract

V delu obravnavamo simulator letenja, ki je bil v uporabi na fakulteti. Obstoječi simulator smo analizirali in se odločili za nadgradnjo. Raziskali smo opcije na trgu programske opreme za simulatorje letenja in glede na zahteve za doseganje učnih ciljev posodobili programsko in strojno opremo. Za simulator smo zasnovali vaje iz tematike letalskih instrumentov in osnovnih manevrov, ki so povezane z nekaterimi od učnih ciljev za ATPL teoretično šolanje. Pri vsaki vaji smo našteli učne cilje, s katerimi je vaja povezana, predstavili teoretično ozadje vaje in postopek letenja na simulatorju. Ugotovili smo, da simulator nekaterih pojavov povezanih z instrumenti ne more simulirati, vendar je kljub temu primeren za uporabo pri laboratorijskih vajah.

Secondary title: Upgrade of the flight simulator and its use for training of basic maneuvers and instruments
Secondary abstract: In this work we discuss the flight simulator that was in use at faculty. The existing flight simulator was analyzed and we made a decision to upgrade it. We researched the current market of flight simulator software and then upgraded the software and hardware based on learning objectives. Excersises were then designed to be related to topics of flight instruments and basic manuevers that are also related to ATPL syllabus objectives. For each exercise we listed the related objectives from ATPL syllabus, presented the theory and wrote procedure for flying using the simulator. We found out that some instrument characteristics and errors cannot be simulated but nevertheless flight simulator is suitable for usage at laboratory excersises.
