Abstract

Vzhodni del Krajinskega parka Tivoli, Rožnik in Šišenski hrib je priljubljena rekreacijska in sprostitvena destinacija obdana z urbanimi površinami. Na območju je naraslo število konfliktov na stikih urbanih površin z gozdom. Stik urbanega z gozdom je pomemben predvsem na območju zasebnih pozidanih zemljišč, kjer so potrebe po upravljanju z gozdnim robom glede zmanjšanja tveganj pri nastanku gozdnih požarov, pri omejevanju stikov z divjadjo ter z vnosom škodljivcev in invazivnih rastlin. Kabinetno smo pregledali domačo in tujo literaturo, pridobili evidenco gozdnih požarov ter s terenskim ogledom evidentirali (ne)primerne dejavnosti in popisali stanje na vzhodnem robu krajinskega parka. Analizirali smo pobude in pripombe meščanov s portala Servis pobude meščanov. Največji delež neprimernih dejavnosti na študijskem območju predstavlja odlaganje materiala na gozdnem robu, takoj zatem sledi nenadzorovano širjenje invazivnih rastlinskih vrst. Gozdni požari na robu gozda ne predstavljajo večjih težav. Meščanom največ pomeni urejena in mirna okolica krajinskega parka ter prehodnost poti. Naše rezultate smo primerjali s tujo in domačo literaturo ter s pobudami meščanov in nato predlagali smernice za upravljanje območja na stiku urbanih površin z gozdom.

Secondary abstract: The eastern part of the Tivoli, Rožnik and Šiška hill Landscape Park is a popular recreation and relaxation destination surrounded by urban areas. In this area, the number of conflicts at the urban- forest interface has increased. The contact of urban areas with the forest edge is particularly important on private built-up land where it is necessary to manage the forest edge to reduce the risk of forest fires, limit contact with wildlife and prevent the introduction of other harmful and invasive plants. We reviewed domestic and foreign literature, obtained records of forest fires, recorded (in)appropriate activities during a field visit and described the situation on the eastern edge of the landscape park. We analysed the citizens’ initiatives from the portal Servis pobude mešcanov. The largest proportion of inappropriate activities on the study area is dumping on the forest edge, immediately followed by the uncontrolled spread of invasive plant species. Forest fires are not a major problem at the forest edge. The most important thing for the citizens is the orderly and quiet environment of the landscape park and the walkability of the paths. We compared our findings with foreign and domestic literature, as well as with citizens' initiatives and the proposed guidelines for managing the urban-forest interface.
