Abstract

V zadnjem času je tehnologija rotacijskega litja polimerov, zaradi svojih posebnih prednosti postala ključna tehnologija pri proizvodnji kompleksnih votlih izdelkov. Ta tehnologija omogoča natančno oblikovanje in izdelavo izdelkov z notranjimi votlinami ter zapletenimi geometrijskimi značilnostmi. Posledično se tako doseže višjo stopnjo natančnosti, enakomerno stensko debelino ter visoko trdnost materiala, kar je za mnoge aplikacije ključnega pomena. Prvi del zaključnega dela vsebuje opis razvoja testne naprave, predvidene za izdelavo prototipov votlih izdelkov v Laboratoriju za nelinearno mehaniko na Fakulteti za Strojništvo. Celovito so predstavljene vse faze in koraki, ki vodijo od zasnove koncepta do izdelanega prototipa. V nadaljnjih poglavjih so opisani izdelava, priklop in zagon naprave. Sledi opis metodologije raziskave ter izdelava poročila izvedbe testov. Na koncu so v poglavju Rezultati in diskusija prikazani in komentirani vsi zajeti rezultati, pridobljeni pri izvajanju testov, preračunov ter meritev.

Secondary title: Development and testing of a device for rotational moulding of liquid polymers
Secondary abstract: In recent times, polymer rotational moulding technology has become key technology due to its special advantages in the production of complex hollow products. This technology enables a precise design and manufacturing of products with internal cavities and complex geometric features. As a result, a higher level of accuracy, uniform wall thickness and high material strength can be achieved, which is crucial for many applications. The first part of the thesis contains a description of the development of the test device intended for prototyping hollow products at the Laboratory for nonlinear mechanics at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. All steps leading from the design of the concept to the finished prototype are comprehensively presented. The following chapter describes the construction, connection and start-up of the device. This is followed by a description of the research methodology and a report on the caried out tests. Next, in the Results and Discussion chapter, in which all the included results obtained during the tests, calculations and measurements are shown and commented.
