Secondary title: | Application of one-dimensional two-phase flow modeling to design the capillary assembly before entering a tube-fin heat pump evaporator |
Secondary abstract: | In the final assigment, the pressure drop in the capillary assembly before entering a tube-fin heat pump evaporator were analysed using one-dimensional two-phase flow modelling. An experimental column was set up to record pressure dropa data. For the calculations, we used a one-dimensional approach with a seperate flow model (Lockhart – Martinelli). The analytical model was verified with measurements on an existing heat pump ADAPT 0724. Based on the corresponding analytical model, we have designed a set of capillaries for a new heat pump model. |
