Nekaj poudarkov iz 30-letne zgodovine simpozija Obdobja

Abstract

Simpozij Obdobja zaznamujejo tri temeljne prvine, zlasti dve - mednarodnost in interdisciplinarnost - sta še posebej aktualni za sodobni čas. Tretja, vezana na kohezivno krovno temo, ki se je pred nekaj leti opustila, predlagamo, da se ponovno vzpostavi; gre namreč za premišljen izraz aktualne in kompleksne problematike humanistike na Slovenskem s poudarkom seveda na jeziku in literaturi, o kateri lahko kritično razpravlja tudi mednarodna strokovna javnost. Kot taka je neke vrste razpoznavni intelektualni znak simpozija Obdobja, ki ga v veliki meri tudi osmišlja.

Secondary abstract:	The Obdobja Symposium has three key elements, two of which - internationality and interdisciplinarity - are of particular relevance today. The third, connected with the overall cohesive theme, needs to be re-established: the considered expression of the current and complex issue of the humanities in Slovenia with an emphasis on language and literature, which can also be critically discussed by the international scholarly community. It thus represents a kind of distinguishing intellectual marker of the Obdobja Symposium, which also, to a great extent, gives it meaning.
