Abstract

Z uporabo spajanja vinilarenov in benzaldehidov, kataliziranega z nikljem, s sledečo redukcijo aldehidne skupine, smo z opisano tandemsko reakcijo pripravili nove spojine, ki smo jih nato izolirali, čistili in karakterizirali. Pripravili smo tri nove spojine, kjer smo kot katalizator uporabili Ni(PPh3)2Cl2. Spajali smo 4-vinil-1,1-bifenil, 1-metoksi-4-vinilbenzen in 2-vinilpiridin s 3-jodobenzaldehidom in 3-bromobenzaldehidom. Preučili smo vpliv reakcijskih pogojev in reagentov na izkoristek sinteze. Pripravljene produkte smo izolirali s približno 20% izkoristkom.

Secondary title: Aromatic aldehydes as substrates in the nickel-catalyzed hydroarylation of styrenes
Secondary abstract: With the use of nickel-catalysed coupling of vinylarens and benzaldehydes, followed by reduction of formyl group, described tandem reaction led us to new compounds that we have later isolated, purified and characterized. We prepared three novel compounds, where Ni(PPh3)2Cl2 was used as the catalyst. As substrates we used 4-vinyl-1,1-biphenyl, 1-methoxy-4-vinylbenzene or 2-vinylpyridine, along with 3-iodobenzaldehyde or 3-bromobenzaldehyde. We have also evaluated the effect of reaction conditions and reagents on the yields of the synthesis. Prepared products were isolated in about 20% yields.
