Abstract

Diplomsko delo obravnava tematiko ukrepov za umirjanje prometa v mestih in njihovo praktično uporabo. Predstavljeni so sodobni ukrepi ter njihove ključne lastnosti. Naloga zajema tudi praktičen primer umestitve ukrepov na osmih različnih lokacijah v Mestni občini Maribor. Osrednji cilj je izbrati ustrezne ukrepe za zmanjšanje hitrosti motornih vozil, brez negativnih posledic za prebivalce. Skozi iskanje rešitev za vsako lokacijo so bili upoštevani zakoni, predpisi in tehnične specifikacije. Za vseh osem lokacij je opisano obstoječe stanje, predviden nov ukrep in vpliv novih ukrepov na promet.

Secondary abstract:	The thesis addresses the topic of traffic calming measures in urban areas and their practical application. Modern measures and their key features are presented. The task also includes a practical case study of implementing these measures at eight different locations within the Municipality of Maribor. The main goal is to select appropriate measures for reducing motor vehicle speeds without negative consequences for residents. Throughout the search for solutions for each location, laws, regulations, and technical specifications were considered. For all eight locations, the existing situation, proposed new measures and the impact of the new measures on traffic are described.
