Abstract

V glavnem delu predstavim svojo delitev motiva ženske v Tisnikarjevem slikarstvu: mladenka, mati in osamljena. V nadaljevanju preko izbranih likovnih del posamezne motive interpretiram v povezavi z antropološkimi in sociološkimi besedili ter biografskimi podatki umetnika. Besedilo pospremim s slikovnim gradivom.

Secondary title: The motif of a woman in the works of Jože Tisnikar
Secondary abstract: In my thesis, I interpret the motif of a woman in the paintings of the Slovenian artist Jože Tisnikar, who worked in the second half of the twentieth century. Initially, I present the concept of naïve art and its historical development, both on a global level and in the area of the former Yugoslavia, as I proceed by investigating how Tisnikar’s art fits into the field of Yugoslav naïve art and Slovenian »self-grown« art. In the main part, I present my division of the female motif in Tisnikar’s painting: the young woman, the mother and the lonesome. In the following, I interpret individual motifs through selected works of art in connection with anthropological and sociological texts and biographical data regarding the artist. I accompany the text with pictorial material.
