Abstract

Secondary title: Development of an augmented reality facial filter to learn chest compressions in cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Secondary abstract: In the thesis, we focus on the design and development of an augmented reality face filter for the social network Instagram, which raises awareness and teaches the user how to perform chest compressions and give artificial breaths in case of sudden cardiac arrest. In addition to the development of the filter itself, in the diploma thesis we also examined the usefulness and effectiveness of such filters in practice in order to better understand their impact and potential in educating the general public about the key implementation steps of basic resuscitation procedures. The results showed that there is general interest in using augmented reality in cardiopulmonary resuscitation education, but the idea of a face filter for educational purposes could benefit from further improvements and wider research.
