Abstract

V diplomskem delu bomo najprej predstavili opazovano problematiko ter teoretična izhodišča in pojme, povezane s tematiko dela. Tako kot se vsak posameznik srečuje z ogljičnim odtisom v vsakdanjem življenju se tudi zaposleni delavec srečuje znotraj organizacije. Podnebne spremembe in globalno segrevanje sta veliki žarišči trenutnih časov, proti katerima nasprotuje ves svet. Te imajo globalne posledice spreminjanja vremena, dvigovanja morske gladine in povečevanja nevarnosti poplav, ogrožajo pa tudi pridelavo hrane. Zato smo se odločili, da bomo raziskali poznavanje ogljičnega odtisa zaposlenih v trgovski organizaciji. V nadaljevanju bomo predstavili pridobljene podatke ankete. S podrobnejšo analizo so raziskave pokazale, da se za sam izračun ogljičnega odtisa odloči zelo malo oz. skoraj nihče od zaposlenih, čeprav se zavedajo pomembnosti in ohranitve okolja. Obenem smo ugotovili, da so nekateri posamezniki že sprejeli določene ukrepe in s tem pripomogli k zmanjšanju lastnih emisij. V diplomskem delu bomo predstavili trenutno stanje. Med drugim bomo podali tudi nekaj ukrepov, s katerimi lahko zaposleni blažijo svoj vpliv na okolje.

Secondary title: A survey on the carbon footprint of employees of a retail organisation
Secondary abstract: In this thesis, we will first present the observed issues and the theoretical background and concepts related to the topic of the thesis. Just as every individual faces a carbon footprint in their everyday life, so too does the employee within the organisation. Climate change and global warming are the two big issues of our time, and the whole world is against them. These have global implications for changing weather patterns, rising sea levels and increasing flood risks, and also threaten food production. We therefore decided to investigate the carbon footprint of employees in a retail organisation. The survey data will be presented below. More detailed analysis has shown that very few, if any, employees choose to calculate their carbon footprint themselves, even though they are aware of the importance of preserving the environment. At the same time, we have found that some individuals have already taken action to help reduce their own emissions. In this thesis, we will present the current situation. Among other things, we will give you some measures that employees can take to mitigate their impact on the environment.
