Abstract

Temni turizem je podvrst turizma, ki v zadnjih časih pridobiva vse več zanimanja s strani javnosti, še vseeno pa obstajajo področja temnega turizma, ki so deloma neznana in neraziskana. Takšen je na primer temni turizem na osnovi dejanj serijskih morilcev. Turisti, ki se ueležujejo takšnih atrakcij, si želijo unikatnosti, drugačnosti in izstopa iz vsakdanjosti. Enake želje na potovanjih pa imajo tudi pripadniki generacije Z, ki so rojeni med leti 1995 in 2015. V nalogi smo s pomočjo analize literature postavili definicijo temnega turizma na osnovi dejanj serijskih morilcev. Prav tako smo s pomočjo analize anketnega vprašalnika, v katerem je sodelovalo 416 pripadnikov slovenske generacije Z, ugotovili, da je produkt temnega turizma na osnovi serijskega morilca atraktiven za slovenske pripadnike generacije Z. Spoznali smo njihove želje glede oblikovanja takšnega produkta in ugotovili, da bi pripadniki generacije Z lahko predstavljali ciljno skupino za takšen turistični produkt.

Secondary title: Gen Z and dark tourism attractions based on serial killers
Secondary abstract: Dark tourism is a subtype of tourism that has been gaining more and more interest from the public in recent times, but there are still areas of dark tourism that are partly unknown and unexplored. Such is, for example, dark tourism based on serial killers. Tourists who visit such attractions want uniqueness and detachment from everyday life. Members of generation Z, who were born between 1995 and 2015, have the same wishes when travelling. In the assignment, with the help of literature analysis, we set the definition of dark tourism based on the actions of serial killers. Also, with the help of the analysis of a survey questionnaire in which 416 members of the Slovenian generation Z participated, we found that the product of dark tourism based on serial killers is attractive to the Slovenian members of the generation Z. We found out their wishes regarding the creation of such a product and found that generation Z could represent the target group for such touristic products.
