Abstract

Diplomska naloga se ukvarja s tematiko degradirane urbane površine vzdolž južne železnice v Ljubljani. To območje poskuša ponovno oživiti z zelenjem, in sicer z idejno rešitvijo novega botaničnega parka. Slednji bi območje oplemenil tako programsko kot tudi z vidika narave in boljšega počutja prebivalcev. Prav tako je cilj predlaganega posega narediti mesto bolj vzdržno in trajnostno. Poleg reševanja omenjene problematike pa na območju poskuša izboljšati povezljivost mesta z novimi kolesarskimi stezami in pešpotmi.

Secondary abstract:	The thesis deals with the topic of degraded urban areas along the southern railway line in Ljubljana. It attempts to revitalise this area with greenery, with the conceptual solution of a new botanical park. This would enhance the area both programmatically and in terms of nature and the well-being of the inhabitants. The proposed development also aims to make the city more sustainable and resilient. In addition to addressing the above-mentioned issues, it seeks to improve the connectivity of the city through new cycle paths and pedestrian routes.
