Abstract

Secondary title: Dance didactic games at preschool age
Secondary abstract: The thesis titled Dance Didactic Games at Preschool Age consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, the importance of dance, its effect on the child's creative and motor development, the importance of contextual motives and how these motives encourage the child to participate in didactic games are presented. We also wrote the different approaches, principles, methods and forms of work in the implementation of dance activities that preschool teachers can use during the preparation and implementation of the activity itself. In the practical part, we have prepared four sets of dance didactic games, which are linked to a specific theme through thematic motifs. Each set was performed twice in eight sessions in the kindergarten. We observed the characteristics of children's movement during the play, the dance, and their involvement in the activity and monitored their progress. Based on the implementation of the dance didactic games and the detailed evaluation of the educational work, we found that the dance didactic games have a positive influence on the child's creativity during the dance, on the relaxed involvement in the activity and on the child's motor development.
