Secondary title: | Traces of Rupnik line in the Škofja Loka mountain range |
Secondary abstract: | In my diploma thesis, I discussed the interwar period and the legacy that has been preserved from this period until today. After the signing of the Treaty of Rapallo and the determination of the Rapallo border the Italians and the Yugoslavs both started building their own line of fortifications - the Italian Alpine Wall and the Yugoslav Rupnik Line. The well-preserved remains of Rupnik line can be found in a part of the Škofja Loka hills. I followed the remains, taking photos of bunkers and fortifications along the way. The thematic route starts in Žiri and ends in Soriška planina. It is divided into three stages. |
