Abstract

V diplomskem delu definiramo linearne diferenčne enačbe, homogene in nehomogene linearne diferenčne enačbe prvega reda, homogene in nehomogene linearne diferenčne enačbe drugega reda s konstantnimi koeficienti ter racionalne diferenčne enačbe drugega reda. Opišemo reševanje posameznih linearnih diferenčnih enačb. V nadaljevanju uporabo linearnih diferenčnih enačb prikažemo na primerih iz biologije. Rezultate izpeljemo s pomočjo formul za reševanje linearnih diferenčnih enačb, ki smo jih zapisali v uvodnih poglavjih.

Secondary abstract: In the first part of the thesis we define linear difference equations, first order homogeneous and nonhomogeneous linear difference equations, second order homogeneous and nonhomogeneous linear difference equations with constant coefficients and second order rational difference equations. We continue with the application of linear difference equations in biology. The results are derived from formulas for solving linear difference equations obtained in the introductory chapters.
