Abstract

Secondary title: Examples of preperatory parts of exercise units for elderly
Secondary abstract: The main purpose of the master's thesis was to present and design examples of preparatory exercises for exercise units for the elderly. We defined the concept of the elderly and aging and described specific characteristics associated with this period associated with this period. We identified warm-up as a frequently neglected part of the exercise unit and described its importance and significance within them. We carefully selected exercise content, aiming to include various exercise aids and tools, which can contribute to a higher quality and technically correct execution of selected exercises. Moreover, we also considered the progression and regression of exercises, making them suitable for a wide population of elderly individuals with different conditions and limitations.
