Abstract

Sušenje sena v kontroliranih pogojih je ključ do pridelave kakovostne krme za prežvekovalce. Za dolgotrajno skladiščenje krma ne sme vsebovati več kot 15 % vode. Dosedanja sušilna naprava omogoča le vklop in izklop ventilatorja brez informacij o vlažnosti zraka in krme. Zato se pogosto zgodi, da krmo prevetrujemo z zrakom, ki je bolj vlažen kot je vlažnost krme. V nalogi je bila izvedena tehnološka nadgradnja obstoječe sušilne naprave, da omogoča samodejno delovanje pri idealnih pogojih. Izdelali smo sistem, ki s pomočjo senzorjev temperature in relativne vlažnosti krmili ventilator in uporabniku prikaže sušilne parametre. S tem smo povečali izkoristek sušilne naprave in odstranili možnost neželenega vnosa vlažnosti.

Secondary title: Automatic control of the feed drying device
Secondary abstract: Drying hay under controlled conditions is the key to producing quality forage for ruminants. For long-term storage, feed should not contain more than 15 % water. The current drying device only allows the fan to be turned on and off without information about the humidity of the air and feed. That is why it often happens that the forage is aerated with air that is more humid than the moisture content of the forage. The task included a technological upgrade of the existing drying device to enable automatic operation under ideal conditions. We have developed a system that controls the fan with the help of temperature and relative humidity sensors and displays the drying parameters to the user. This increased the efficiency of the drying device and eliminated the possibility of unwanted humidity input.
