Vplivi pomorskih nesreč na okolje

Abstract

Magistrska naloga obravnava teoretični del, ki opisuje, katere pomorske nesreče najbolj vplivajo na okolje in kakšnega izvora so le-te. Opisani so kratkoročni in dolgoročni vplivi na okolje, ki jih povzročijo takšne nesreče. Podrobneje so opisane posledice teh onesnaženj, kakšen vpliv imajo na naravo in njene ekosisteme. Odpravljanje nesreč z razlitjem nafte je posebej opisano v poglavju »Odpravljanje posledic nesreč«. To poglavje je razdeljeno na čiščenje na obali in čiščenje na morju in opisuje različne pristope ter načine čiščenja. Vključuje tudi opis, uporabo in nevarnosti disperzantov, ki se uporabljajo ob čiščenju naftnih madežev. Analize nesreč zajemajo nekatere večje nesreče, kot so nesreča tankerja Exoon Valdez, nesreča naftne ploščadi Deepwater Horizon in podobne ter njihov vpliv na okolje. S pomočjo analize poskušamo čim bolje opisati dolgoročne in kratkoročne posledice na živali, rastline in življenjski habitat na prizadetih območjih. Opišemo največje probleme, ki nastanejo zaradi teh razlitij, in navedemo rešitve ter ukrepe, ki so nastali zaradi teh nesreč.

Secondary abstract:	The master thesis deals with the theoretical part, describing which maritime accidents have the greatest impact on the environment and their origin. It describes the short- and long-term environmental impacts caused by such accidents. The consequences of these pollution incidents are described in more detail, as well as their impact on nature and its ecosystems. Oil spill disaster response is specifically described in the chapter "Disaster recovery". This chapter is divided into onshore and offshore clean-ups and describes the different approaches and methods of clean-up. It also includes a description, use and hazards of dispersants used in oil spill clean-up. Accident analyses cover some of the major accidents such as the Exoon Valdez, the Deepwater Horizon and similar accidents and their impact on the environment. Through the analysis, we try to describe as best as possible the long-term and short-term consequences on animals, plants and habitats in the affected areas. We describe the major problems caused by these spills and give the solutions and measures that have resulted from these accidents.
