Abstract

Prispevek se ukvarja s poučevanjem slovnice, ki v zadnjih desetletjih zaseda pomembno mesto v učnih načrtih predmeta slovenščina. Avtor se zavzema za manj pouka slovnice in sploh jezikovne teorije ter predlaga, da bi že pri načrtovanju pouka materinščine odločilno vlogo dobili učitelji. Zagovarja več praktičnih dejavnosti pri pouku, kar utemeljuje zgodovinsko in z učiteljskimi izkušnjami.

Secondary abstract: The paper focuses on the teaching of grammar, which has in the last few decades played an important role in the mother-tongue curricula of Slovene schools. The author calls for less grammar teaching and language theory in general, and recommends that teachers play a decisive role in the planning of first-language teaching. He argues for a more practical approach, justifying this with historical arguments and teachersć first-hand experience.
