Abstract

Magistrsko delo obravnava problem procesa toplotne obdelave laminiranega statorja in rotorja elektromotorja. Poznavanje procesa indukcijskega segrevanja paketa lamel je ključnega pomena za doseganje potrebne kvalitete izdelkov. Računalniška simulacija procesa nam omogoča vpogled v časovno odvisno dogajanje in nam olajša delo pri izbiri ustrezne tuljave in procesnih parametrov. Vse to nam doprinese k obvladovanju procesa induktivnega segrevanja v realnih razmerah. V nalogi je predstavljena teorija elektromagnetizma in prevoda toplote. V nadaljevanju raziskave predstavimo potek in metodologijo numeričnega modeliranja in izvedbe računalniške simulacije. V zaključku dela je prikazana analiza rezultatov računalniške simulacije in izvedena primerjava z eksperimentalno dobljenimi rezultati.

Secondary title: Numerical analysis of induction heating of laminated stator and rotor of an electric motor using FEM
Secondary abstract: This masters thesis deals with a process of heat treatment of laminated rotor and stator of an electromotor. To have good knowledge of induction heating process of laminated stacks is key to achieving good quality of products. Numerical analysis of the process enables us to have an insight in time dependant heating of laminated electromotor cores which helps us with designing the right coil and process parameters. All this contributes to have a better control over the process of induction heating in real circumstances. In this thesis we will first present the theoretical background of electromagnetism and heat transfer. Next part of the research will go through the process of developing the numerical model and simulations. In the end we will analyse and discuss simulation results as well as make a comparison of numerical calculation to the results of an experiment.
