Abstract

V diplomskem delu sta predstavljeni nastavitev in uporaba aplikacije OpenHAB. Aplikacija omogoča lokalni nadzor in avtomatizacijo naprav v pametnem domu, kar je predstavljeno na konkretnih primerih. Delo obsega namestitev aplikacije OpenHAB na Linux OS, razvoj lastnih naprav za pametni dom, povezovanje naprav, avtomatizacijo in izdelavo uporabniškega vmesnika. Namen je tako informativni za nove uporabnike kot poučni za razvijalce začetnike. Uporabljeni sta izkustvena in raziskovalna metoda. Vsebina je zasnovana na lastnem znanju o napravah in programiranju iz izkušenj v jeziku C++ in Javi. Napredni tehnični ukazi so podprti z literaturo. Rezultat dela je delujoča aplikacija OpenHAB, ki jo uporabljajo vsi domači. Med raziskovanjem smo ugotovili, da so potrebne izboljšave pri obdelavi prejetih podatkov od naprav v aplikaciji OpenHAB ter avtomatizacija dodajanja naprav, saj je delo z nastavitvami veliko naprav precej zamudno.

Secondary abstract: The thesis presents the setup and use of the OpenHAB application. The application enables local control and automation of devices in a smart home, which is presented on concrete examples. The thesis presents installation of OpenHAB on Linux OS, development of our own smart home devices, connection of devices, automation, and creation of user interface. It is intended to be both informative for new users and instructive for novice developers. There are two methods used, first experiential and second research. The content is based on familiarity with electronics and programming in C++ and Java from experience. Advanced technical commands are supported by literature. The result of the thesis is a working OpenHAB application, that has shown to be useful for all relatives. During research, we found that further improvements are needed at the processing of data received from devices on OpenHAB for reliability reasons. Also, there is demand for automatic configuration of devices, since working with the settings of many devices is quite time-consuming.
