Abstract

Magistrska naloga opisuje uporabo informacijsko komunikacijsko tehnološke (v nadaljevanju: IKT) infrastrukture elektro distribucijskega podjetja, njeno prenovo in optimizacijo njenega upravljanja. IKT infrastruktura v organizaciji predstavlja nenehno spremenljiv sistem za podporo delovnim procesom, zahtevanih funkcionalnosti in zadovoljive zmogljivosti. V uvodu je predstavljena sama organizacija, njeno okolje in proces obvladovanja IKT infrastrukture ter ugotovljene težave upravljanja IKT infrastrukture. V nadaljevanju sledi opis predloga konkretne prenove IKT infrastrukture, opis novih metod uporabe za odpravo težav in pomanjkljivosti. Dejstvo je, da je opisano znanje mogoče uporabiti pri prenovi IKT infrastrukture katerekoli organizacije, saj učinki in pridobitve z izvedeno prenovo prinašajo nižje stroške in porabljene kapacitete virov.

Secondary abstract: The Master's thesis describes the use of an electricity distribution company's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure, its renewal, and the optimization of its management. The ICT infrastructure in an organization represents a constantly changing system to support work processes, required functionalities, and satisfactory performance. The introduction presents the organization itself, its environment, the process of ICT infrastructure management, and the problems identified in ICT infrastructure management. This is followed by the description of a proposal for a concrete overhaul of the ICT infrastructure, describing new application methods to remedy the problems and shortcomings. The knowledge described can be applied to the renewal of the ICT infrastructure of any organization, as the effects and benefits of the implementation result in lower costs and reduced resource capacity.
