Abstract

Družbeno sprejeta norma o moški moči in prevladi upravičuje nadzor in zlorabo nad žensko. V magistrskem delu raziskujem spolno zaznamovano nasilje, pojem, ki so ga razvile feministične avtorice. Njihove raziskave kažejo, da so vzroki za nasilje nad žensko povezani z vprašanjem moči, dominacijo in tudi s sovraštvom do žensk. V skladu s feministično perspektivo uporabljam pojem preživel(k)e, ki poudarja pomen strategij za preživetje in izogibanje nasilju. V teoretičnem delu pojasnim družbene odnose patriarhata, ki vplivajo na čustva, ki jih ženska doživlja v nasilnem odnosu, ter pomanjkljivosti sistema pomoči. Občutki krivde, sramu in strahu ter nestrokovnost institucionalne pomoči močno zavirajo odhod ženske iz nasilnega odnosa.

Secondary abstract:	Socially accepted norm of male power and dominance justifies control and abuse over a woman. In this master's thesis, I explore sexual- and gender-based violence, a concept developed by feminist authors. Their research indicates that the causes of violence against women are linked to questions of power, domination, and hatred towards women. Following the feminist perspective, I use the term "survivor," emphasizing the importance of survival strategies and avoiding violence. In the theoretical part, I explained the social relations of patriarchy that impact the emotions experienced by women in violent relationships and the shortcomings of the support system. Feelings of guilt, shame, fear, and the professional incompetence of institutional support strongly hinder women from leaving violent relationships.
