Abstract

S poskusom želimo optimizirati postopek razmnoževanja lesnatih in zelenih potaknjencev v neogrevanem plastenjaku. Proučevali smo koreninjenje in razvoj koreninskega sistema, razvoj kalusa in vegetativni prirast v razmnoževalnem obdobju. Hipotez zaradi slabega koreninjenja nismo potrdili.

Secondary title: The optimization of the vegetative propagation of kiwifruit (Actinidia deliciosa A.Chev.) cultivar ‘Hayward’
Secondary abstract: Kiwifruit (Actinidia deliciosa A.CHEV.) is a dioecious fruit species, with a woody habit. Among the varieties, 'Hayward' variety is leading the way. Commercial propagation is based on cuttings, one-year-old shoots, which are taken from stock plants. We want to optimize the propagation process of hardwood and softwood cuttings in a zero energy polyhouse with this experiment. Terminal cuttings were selected from twelve-year-old plants in an intensive orchard. High-pressure fogging method was used for softwood cuttings. The propagation material was collected in two parts of the year, in two periods each time, in the winter of 2021 and 2022 for hardwood and in the summer of 2022 for softwood cuttings. They were treated with a hormonal mixture of 0,005 % IBA, IAA and control each time, and the experiment was carried out in four repetitions with twenty cuttings. Rooting and development of the root system, callus development and vegetative growth during the growth period were evaluated. Hardwood cuttings did not root, 74,4 % of them survived and callused with an average shoot length of 5,7 ± 2,3 cm. The survival rate of softwood cuttings was 9,6 %, with an average of 4,5 ± 0,5 roots and an average length of 12,8 ± 5,7 cm per cutting. The results cannot be statistically confirmed due to the general poor rooting performance. Due to poor rooting, the hypotheses were not confirmed.
