Abstract

Trend dandanes na področju obnovljivih virov predstavljajo sončne elektrarne, katere lahko posameznikom prinesejo številne prednosti. Prvotna prednost, zaradi katere se ljudje odločajo zanje, je proizvodnja električne energije, ki omogoča samooskrbo gospodinjstva in zmanjšanje stroškov električne energije. Tehnično dovršen način vpeljave tovrstnega sistema lahko pokrije lastno rabo ali celo ustvari viške energije. V primerih viškov energije poznamo različne načine hranjenja oz. poslovanja z njimi. Razvit sistem hranilnikov in platforme izbranih podjetjih omogočajo posameznikom popolno samooskrbo z električno energijo.

Secondary title: Solar energy - flexibility and resilience of energy supply
Secondary abstract: The trend in the field of renewable energy nowadays is represented by solar power plants, which can bring numerous benefits to individuals. The primary advantage that motivates people to choose them is the production of electrical energy, enabling household self-sufficiency and reducing electricity costs. A technically advanced implementation of such a system can cover its own consumption or even generate surplus energy. In cases of energy surplus, various methods of storage and utilization exist. Developed storage systems and platforms by selected companies allow individuals to achieve complete self-sufficiency in electrical energy. Photovoltaic technology is already highly developed, offering individuals the opportunity to create the maximum possible amount of generated electrical energy using various components. Therefore, from an economic perspective, this type of system makes sense for household implementation. It would be advisable for more people to use battery storage systems to store excess energy. These systems enable household self-sufficiency and practical independence from the grid. In practice, people most commonly use the method of net metering for self-sufficiency. This is very common because surplus energy can be released into the grid, and when they do not generate enough energy for their needs, they can easily use energy from the grid. Another common practice is transferring excess energy to another location or supplying it to another customer at a different address. In conclusion, sustainable investment in renewable energy supply methods makes sense, as it can bring numerous advantages to households when used correctly.
