Abstract

Secondary title: Measurement setup for characterization of light soaking and relaxation of perovskite solar cells
Secondary abstract: Perovskite solar cells display characteristics that are challenging to analyze using commercial measurement instruments, one of which is light soaking—a phenomenon involving either permanent or reversible changes in parameters under illumination. This thesis aims to address this issue by utilizing custom-designed printed circuit boards and software to establish a specialized measurement setup. The focus is on characterizing the light soaking effects and their relaxation in perovskite solar cells by monitoring the open-circuit voltage. We have developed a novel "flash-measure" method to investigate the relaxation of light soaking through millisecond flashes of illumination. In addition to this, the measurement system is equipped to conduct short-circuit and current-voltage characteristic analyses. We have designed software that not only allows for manual control of basic measurements but also supports programmable automated measurement sequences, complete with database storage for acquired data.
