Abstract
Cilj diplomske naloge je razviti mobilno aplikacijo, ki služi kot pomočnik pohodnikom v slovenskih gorah. Aplikacija služi kot digitalna pohodniška knjižica, v kateri uporabnik zbira žige za vsak osvojen slovenski vrh. Uporabniku aplikacija ponuja informacije o planinskih poteh in vrhovih. Uporabnik lahko v zbirko vrhov in poti prav tako dodaja manjkajoč vrh ali pot, za kar je nagrajen. Uporabniku lahko svojo aktivnost snema (čas in dolžina pohoda, število višinskih metrov). Glede na preference uporabnika aplikacija uporabniku predlaga idejo za obisk gora. Aplikacija vsebuje principe igrifikacije z namenom večje vključenosti uporabnika. Uporabnik z uporabo aplikacije (dodajanje informacij, snemanje pohodov) zbira točke ter značke. Uporabnik prav tako lahko sodeluje v razvrstitvi na najboljših deset pohodnikov. Rezultati ankete, izpolnjene s strani 17 testnih uporabnikov, kažejo na visoko uporabnost in všečnost razvite aplikacije. Testni uporabniki menijo, da elementi igrifikacije aplikaciji dodajo vrednost, kot osrednji razlog za uporabo aplikacije pa navajajo večjo motivacijo za obisk gora.

Cross-platform development of a mobile hiking application |
Secondary abstract: |
The aim of the project is to develop a mobile application, that serves as a helping tool while hiking in Slovene mountains. The application serves as a digital hiking booklet, in which the user receives stamps for each conquered peak in Slovene mountains. It provides information on Slovene hiking trails (difficulty, duration, etc.) and also enables the user to add hikes and paths to the existing database. The user can also record their hiking activity (distance and duration of the hike, number of altimeters made). The application is also able to suggest a trail, based on user preferences -- chosen region, preferred duration and difficulty. In the applications certain aspects of gamification are used. The user receives points and badges for recording their hikes and adding information to the database. The user can participate in a scoreboard, which showcases 10 best hikers. Results of the survey completed by 17 test users, shows great usability and agreeability of the application. Test users believe that gamification aspects added value to the application and claim that their main reason for continuing the use of the application would be their higher motivation to hike. |
