Abstract

Diplomska naloga raziskuje decentralizirano glasovanje na verigi Arbitrum s poudarkom na razvoju, implementaciji in ovrednotenju platforme. Z uporabo poglobljenega pregleda literature, analize potreb, zasnove arhitekture, razvoja in testiranja aplikacije smo uspešno ustvarili platformo za decentralizirano glasovanje. V naši analizi smo se osredotočili na različne vidike uspešnosti platforme. To vključuje hitrost izvajanja transakcij, stroške izvajanja transakcij ter uporabniško izkušnjo. Naši rezultati kažejo na izboljšave v hitrosti izvajanja transakcij, zmanjšanju stroškov glasovanja in večji transparentnosti celotnega postopka. Hkrati smo prepoznali potencialne izboljšave za nadaljnji razvoj platforme, kar pomeni pomemben prispevek k razumevanju in uporabi decentraliziranega glasovanja na verigi Arbitrum za prihodnje aplikacije.

Secondary title: Decentralized voting on the Arbitrum blockchain
Secondary abstract: The thesis explores decentralized voting on the Arbitrum chain, focusing on the platform’s development, implementation and evaluation. We have successfully created a decentralised voting platform using an in-depth literature review, needs analysis, architecture design, application development and testing. Our analysis focused on different aspects of the platform's performance. This includes the speed of transaction execution, the cost of executing transactions and the user experience. Our results show improvements in the speed of transaction execution, a reduction in the cost of voting and increased transparency of the whole process. At the same time, we have identified potential improvements for further development of the platform, which represents an important contribution to the understanding and using decentralized voting on the Arbitrum chain for future applications.
