Abstract

Danes si težko predstavljamo življenje brez lesnih plošč, saj so nepogrešljiv material tako pri izdelavi pohištva kakor tudi pri uporabi v konstrukcijah. Proučevali smo vpliv strukture iverne plošče na njeno trdoto, predvsem z vidika vpliva gostote posameznega sloja iverne plošče. Izdelali smo 3 iverne plošče z različnimi deleži slojev, ter jim izmerili gostotni profil, trdoto površine, upogibno trdnost, odpornost proti udarcu trdega telesa ter debelinski nabrek. Ugotovili smo, da gostota zunanjega in srednjega sloja vpliva na trdoto površine, medtem ko korelacije med gostoto posameznega sloja in debelinskim nabrekom nismo zaznali. Najboljše lastnosti je imela plošča z enakim razmerjem srednjega ter zunanjega sloja.

Secondary title: Influence of particleboard surface layer density on its hardness
Secondary abstract: Life without wood-based panels would nowadays be difficult to imagine because they are important for furniture and construction usage. Particleboard structure was researched to establish the effect on its hardness, regarding the influence of individual layer density. 3 particleboards with different share of layers were produced. Vertical density distribution, hardness, bending strength, hard body impact resistance and thickness swelling were determined. After the determination of the density profile the results showed that the density of an individual layer influenced the hardness, while thickness swelling was not influenced by surface and/or core layer density. It was found out that the board with the same share of surface and core layer had the best properties.
