Abstract

Stol je danes nepogrešljiv del pohištva, saj si nihče več ne predstavlja življenja brez njega. Z njim se srečujemo praktično na vsakem koraku, nepogrešljiv je že ob jutranji kavi, nato v službi, pa čeprav samo v času počitka, prav tako pri obedu ter večernem počitku. Pri razvoju je treba upoštevati vse operacije skozi celoten proces njegovega nastanka. Za začetek je potrebna ideja, nato se ta ideja oceni ter oblikuje in testira koncept izdelka. Sledi razvoj strategije trženja, naredi se poslovna analiza, ki privede do razvoja izdelka. Za konec izdelek testiramo na trgu in ga poskušamo uvesti na trg. Predstavili smo razvoj jedilniškega stola Lucca. Proces razvoja je potekal po Kotlerjevem modelu in je predstavljen na osnovi 8 točk tega modela. Glede na odzive trga predvidevamo, da se bo stol na trgu uveljavil, kar bi pomenilo povečan obseg proizvodnje, prihodkov in dohodkov v podjetju Novoles.

Secondary title: Development of a dinning chair
Secondary abstract: Today we cannot imagine our lives without a chair. We use it on many different occasions during the day. We begin in the morning having our first coffee, then at work during, lunch, and finally at home resting or having dinner. This thesis presents the development of a dinning chair using Kotler's product development model. The development of Lucca dinning chair is described more specifically. Regarding the response of the market we can assume that the Lucca chair would be well accepted on the market. When a new product is being developed we have to consider the following stages of product development: idea generation, idea screening, concept development and testing, marketing strategy and development business analysis, product development, test marketing and commercialization.
