Abstract
V magistrski nalogi nas je zanimalo, kako stopnja čustvene inteligence vodij vpliva na zadovoljstvo zaposlenih v javni zdravstveni ustanovi. V teoretičnem delu smo najprej predstavili pojme, ki se nanašajo na čustva, čustveno inteligenco, vodstvo, zadovoljstvo in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih. Predstavili smo tudi metode, kako izmeriti čustveno inteligenco in njene veje. Zanimalo nas je tudi, zakaj je uporaba čustvene inteligence pomembna v javni zdravstveni ustanovi in kako vpliva stopnja čustvene inteligence vodij na zadovoljstvo zaposlenih. V empiričnem delu smo najprej opisali ustanovo, v kateri smo izvajali raziskavo − Univerzitetni klinični center Ljubljana. Z raziskavo smo ugotavljali, kako dobro so anketiranci seznanjeni s pomenom čustvene inteligence, kakšen pomen ima čustvena inteligenca na zadovoljstvo zaposlenih v javni zdravstveni ustanovi, ali je stopnja čustvene inteligence povezana s stopnjo izobrazbe posameznika in ali ima čustvena inteligenca vodij vpliv na zadovoljstvo zaposlenih v javni zdravstveni ustanovi. Ugotovili smo, da so anketiranci dobro seznanjeni s pomenom čustvene inteligence. Rezultati ankete so nam tudi dokazali, da stopnja izobrazbe posameznika nima vpliva na njegovo stopnjo čustvene inteligence ter da čustvena inteligenca vodij vpliva na zadovoljstvo zaposlenih. Zaradi slednjega bi podjetju predlagali, da svoje vodje neguje z izobraževanjem v smeri razvoja njihove stopnje čustvene inteligence.

The impact of manager's emotional intelligence on employee satisfaction in the public health service |

In our master's thesis, we were interested in how the level of emotional intelligence of managers affects the satisfaction of employees in a public healthcare institution. In the theoretical part, we first presented concepts related to emotions, emotional intelligence, leadership, satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. We have also introduced the methods of measuring emotional intelligence and its branches. We were also interested in why the use of emotional intelligence is important in a public healthcare institution and how the level of emotional intelligence of managers affects employee satisfaction. In the empirical part, we first described the institution in which we conducted the research - the Clinical Center of the University of Ljubljana. Through the research, we found out how well the respondents are familiar with the importance of emotional intelligence, what importance does emotional intelligence have on the satisfaction of employees in a public healthcare institution, whether the level of emotional intelligence is related to the level of education of the individual and whether the emotional intelligence of managers has an impact on the satisfaction of employees in a public healthcare institution. We found that the respondents are aware of the importance of emotional intelligence. The results of the survey also proved to us that the level of an individual's education has no influence on his level of emotional intelligence and that the emotional intelligence of managers affects the satisfaction of employees. We would suggest that the company nurtures its leaders through education in the direction of developing their level of emotional intelligence. |
