magistrsko delo
Abstract

Development of a complete software solution for the monitoring of aircraft batteries status |
Secondary abstract: |
In the Slovenian company LXNAV, which otherwise specializes in the production of aviation navigation instruments for gliders, we were given the task of developing a comprehensive solution for monitoring the condition of one or more aircraft batteries. According to the type in aviation, these are most often lead-based, but the much lighter LiFePo4 batteries are also becoming very popular. Their instruments currently already show voltage and some basic battery related data. The goal of this master's thesis was to develop a program solution for a circuit that is physically on the battery and acts as a load, combined with a Flutter mobile application, in which we can easily visually monitor several batteries and see exactly how much time we have left, before we remain without electricity during the flight. In the testing process, we found that the result of our solution deviates by an average of 2.61 % of the energy that remains unused in the battery until it is completely empty. |
