Abstract

V delu je opisan postopek pridobivanja obremenitvenih spektrov za palice podvozja dirkalnika Formule Student. Na podlagi dejanskega modela formule je bil izdelan mehanski model, ki opisuje vse pomembne lastnosti dirkalnika, kot so celoten mehanizem podvozja ter karakteristike vključenih komponent. Pravilnost delovanja mehanskega modela je bila določena s primerjavo rezultatov simulacij ter numeričnih izračunov. Na podlagi poznanega poteka življenjske dobe dirkalnika smo zasnovali simulacije, s pomočjo katerih je mogoče določiti obremenitvene spektre, ki se pojavijo na palicah podvozja dirkalnika. Iz izračunanih rezultatov je mogoče določiti testne parametre za validacijo vzdržljivosti palic.

Secondary title: Determination of load spectra of Formula Student vehicle suspension by means of simulations
Secondary abstract: A process of obtaining loading spectra for the suspension bars of a Formula Student racing car is described. Based on the actual formula model, a mechanical model was created to encompass all essential characteristics of the car, such as the suspension mechanism and the characteristics of the included components. An accuracy of the mechanical model was determined by comparing the results of simulations with numerical calculations. Using the known lifespan of the racing car, simulations were set-up to determine the loading spectra that occur on the suspension bars of the car. The calculated results allow for the identification the of test parameters for the validation of the bars fatigue life.
