Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo obravnavali področje managementa dogodkov. Namen dela je bil raziskati proces organizacije dogodkov in razviti spletno aplikacijo, ki olajša delo organizatorjem dogodkov. Raziskava temelji na obsežnem pregledu strokovne in znanstvene literature domačih in tujih avtorjev ter analizi obstoječih rešitev tega področja z namenom spoznati izzive, s katerimi se soočajo organizatorji dogodkov. Proces razvoja se je začel s temeljitim zajemom zahtev in natančno specifikacijo le-teh, sledilo je poglobljeno načrtovanje in nato implementacija prototipa spletne aplikacije. Celoten proces je podrobno dokumentiran v našem delu. Pri razvoju spletne aplikacije smo uporabili moderne tehnologije, kot so React, Node, Express in MariaDB. Z razvojem spletne aplikacije, ki zadovoljuje tako potrebe organizatorjev kot tudi obiskovalcev dogodkov, smo prispevali k praksi z ustvarjanjem učinkovitega sistema, ki poenostavi delo organizatorjev dogodkov. Aplikacija ima potencial za nadaljnje izboljšave in širjenje uporabe. Naša naloga pa presega zgolj področje upravljanja dogodkov, saj lahko celoten raziskovalni proces in razvoj spletne aplikacije služita kot model za podobne projekte na različnih področjih.

Secondary title: Development of a web application to support event management
Secondary abstract: In the thesis, we studied the field of event management. The purpose of the work was to investigate the process of organizing events and to develop a web application that facilitates the work of event organizers. The research is based on an extensive review of professional and scientific literature by local and foreign authors, as well as an analysis of existing solutions in this field with the aim of understanding the challenges faced by event organizers. The development process began with a thorough capture of the requirements and their precise specification, followed by in-depth planning and then the implementation of a web application prototype. The entire process is documented in detail in our work. In the development of the web application, we used modern technologies such as React, Node, Express and MariaDB. By developing a web application that meets the needs of event organizers as well as event visitors, we have contributed to practice by creating an efficient system that simplifies the work of event organizers. The application has the potential for further improvements and expansions. Our task goes beyond just the field of event management, as the entire research process and web application development can serve as a model for similar projects in different fields.
