Islovar kot model spletnega terminološkega slovarja

Abstract

V prispevku je predstavljen spletni terminolo{ki slovar informatike Islovar, ki ga izdaja Slovensko društvo Informatika. To je razlagalni slovar, ki črpa znanje iz doslej objavljenih slovenskih informacijskih in računalniških slovarskih in drugih tiskanih del in hkrati izkorišča številne možnosti rabe sodobnih informacijskih tehnologij. Značilnosti Islovarja so odprtost, dostopnost, ažurnost, aktivna vloga uporabnikov. Uporabniki lahko v Islovar zapi{ejo nove strokovne izraze ali komentirajo obstoječe. Islovar ureja strokovna skupina po dogovorjenem postopku v posebnem delu Islovarja neposredno na spletu. Izpopolnjeni računalniški program omogoča preglednost dogajanja v Islovarju in takojšnje spreminjanje in prilagajanje njegove vsebine. Zaradi prednosti, ki jih ima tak način leksikografskega dela, bi Islovar lahko postal model za druge terminološke slovarje.

Secondary abstract:	In the paper the on-line terminology dictionary Islovar, published by the Slovene association Informatika, is presented. Islovar is an explanatory dictionary founded upon previous Slovene computing and informatics lexicographical and other published works. At the same time, it takes advantage of the new information technologies. Its content is open to the cooperation of users, free to public access, and constantly updated. Users may enter new terms or comment on the existing ones. Following an agreed procedure, Islovar is edited by a group of specialists in a separate part of the dictionary on the Internet. The new version of the computer program makes the activities in the dictionary transparent to the editors, with the possibility of immediate changing or adjusting the content. Because of the advantages of such lexicography work, Islovar might become a model for other terminological dictionaries.
