revitalizacija območja obstoječega športnega centra in idejna zasnova nove ledene dvorane v Kranju

Abstract

Magistrska naloga se skozi revitalizacijo že obstoječega športnega centra v Kranju ukvarja s problematiko aktualnih razmer primankljaja športnih ledenih površin za širšo kranjsko območje. Trenutne kapacitete že obstoječe, začasne “šotorske” ledene dvorane na drugi lokaciji, tako urbanistično kot arhitekturno ne zadoščajo potrebam in zahtevam uporabnikov. Projekt se najprej dotakne celostne ureditve športnega centra Kranj na obrobju mesta, kjer se trenutno že izvajajo številne športne dejavnosti, vendar pa zaradi svojega nekonsistentnega razvoja skozi čas ne najde prave koherentnosti in ne sledi nobeni rdeči niti. V obzir vzame tudi izgradnjo nove severne obvoznice Kranja in neizkoriščenost celotnega zemljišča, ki se dopolni s predlaganimi športnimi vsebinami.

Secondary abstract:	The master’s thesis addresses the issue of the current lack of ice sports surfaces for the broader Kranj area through the revitalization of an existing sports center. The current capacities of the existing temporary “tent-like” ice hall in another location do not meet the needs and requirements of users, both urbanistically and architecturally. The project initially focuses on the comprehensive arrangement of the Kranj sports center on the outskirts of the city, where numerous sport activities are already taking place. However, due to its inconsistent development over time, it lacks coherence and does not follow any clear line. The construction of the new northern ring road of Kranj and the underutilization of the entire land are also taken into consideration, complemented by the proposed sports facilities.
