Abstract

Les je inženirski material. V uporabi je pogosto tudi dinamično obremenjen, zato je potrebno pri numeričnih analizah, v fazi snovanja izdelka, poznati tudi njegovo dinamično trdnost. Le to določimo eksperimentalno. V ta namen uporabljamo preskuševališča za ciklično obremenjevanje. V diplomskem delu smo želeli test dinamične trdnosti lesa na obstoječemu pnevmatskemu preskuševališču avtomatizirati. V nadgradnji smo z uporabo merilno krmilnega vmesnika NI USB 6009 in programske opreme Labview združili krmilni in merilni sistem preskuševališča. Zasnovana rešitev omogoča nastavljanje relevantnih parametrov testa, ki sta velikost in časovni interval obremenitve, ter merjenje in beleženje relevantnih veličin testa, ki so sila obremenitve, deformacije in porušitve preizkušanca, ter število ciklov obremenitve. Vsi relevantni podatki testa se beležijo in po končanem preskušanju shranijo v Excelovo datoteko. Nadgradnja je bila izvedena in je v fazi preizkusa delovala skladno z zastavljenimi cilji.

Secondary title: Controlling system for fatigue testing of wood and wood composites
Secondary abstract: Wood is engineering material, which is often subjected to dynamic loads. Therefore, it is necessary to know their dynamic strength during the product design phase through numerical analyses. This is determined experimentally using testing facilities for cyclic loading. In our thesis, we aimed to automate the testing of the dynamic strength of wood on an existing pneumatic testing machine. In the upgrade, we combined the control and measurement system of the testing facility using the NI USB 6009 measurement and control interface and LabVIEW software. The designed solution allows for adjusting relevant test parameters, such as the load magnitude and time interval, and measuring and recording key test variables, including load force, deformations, specimen failure, and the number of load cycles. All relevant test data is recorded and saved in an Excel file after the test is completed. The upgrade has been implemented and, during the testing phase, operated in line with the set goals.
