prehrana avstro-ogrskih vojakov na avstrijsko-italijanski fronti

Abstract

Prehrana vojakov na bojišču je bila vedno velik izziv za oskrbovalno in podporno vejo vojske. Zaradi neustrezne hrane so bili vojaki fizično šibki, a tudi malodušni. Oskrba avstro-ogrskih vojakov na avstro-italijanski fronti večinoma ni zadostila povpraševanju, zato so bili pogosto lačni, še posebej po letu 1916. Analiza dnevnikov, spominov in pisem vojakov omogoča vpogled v njihove izkušnje in identifikacijo različnih dejavnikov, ki so nanje vplivali.

Secondary abstract:	The nutrition of soldiers on the battlefield has always represented a great challenge for the supply and support branch of the military. Inadequate food left soldiers physically weak but also dispirited. The food supply for the Austro-Hungarian soldiers on the Austro-Italian front mostly failed to keep up with the demand, so they were often hungry, especially after 1916. An analysis of the soldiers’ diaries, memoirs, and letters provides an insight into their experiences and identifies the various factors that affected them.
