Secondary title: | Analysis of cutting forces and tool wear in milling of stainless steel |
Secondary abstract: | The master's thesis presents a comparison of mechanical processing of stainless steel using three different cooling methods: emulsion, air, and carbon dioxide ▫$(CO_2)$▫ mixed with a minimal quantity lubrication oil mist (MQL). The main elements of the research were cutting forces and tool wear after 2 hours of CNC machining with increased parameters beyond the recommended values. We demonstrated that emulsion and ▫$CO_2+MQL$▫ are suitable for processing stainless steel, while air cooling proved to be an unsuitable method for tool cooling. |
