Secondary title: Graphical user interface for selecting time zones in a power system management tool
Secondary abstract: Most modern computers personal or specialized, has a clock integrated in it's hardware or software. Time or time stamps are important for all events, errors or records that occur on computer. The thesis presents time zone files, their use and implementation in PSM system. The objective of a thesis is to implement the new functionality into the existing program. At the beginning we present time zone files, zoneinfo directory and PSM application. Finally, we connect all these knowledge together by producing graphical interface for time zone files in PSM application. Graphical user interface was developed in Java and all settings files have a XML structure. We also described program zic, which converts source code of time zone files to regular and correct time zone files and PSM system. The result is working graphical user interface for choosing time zone files and transfer of selected file to device. Therefore all the devices in NEO3000 family around the world will be able to produce correct time stamps.
