The aim of this thesis is automation of already existing infrastructure and devices in the living space. For this purpose, a centralized system was developed, which manages blinds depending on the amount of light, regulates desired temperature in the room, unlocks and locks the front door and through video surveillance takes care for the safety in the home.
In the first part of the paper the concept and historical development of smart house is presented. In the second part the used hardware, software and functioning of the system are described. Smart house named Domuss is designed around Arduino board, which presents the brain of the whole system. |
