Secondary abstract:	The thesis presents graph databases. Graph databases are a part of NoSQL databases, which is why this thesis presents basics of NoSQL databases as well. We have focused on advantages of graph databases compared to rela- tional databases. We have used one of native graph databases (Neo4j), to present more detailed processing of graph databases. To get more acquainted with graph databases and its principles, we developed a simple application that uses a Neo4j graph database to store its data. Our data are transactions between Slovenian public administration for a period from year 2003 to 2013. Transactions that we used can be nicely presented with a graph, so application visualizes our dataset to a graph. Application has several filters to filter the data and it has the ability to draw nodes of diffenent sizes, which is dependent on specified atribute.
