Secondary abstract:	The purpose of the diploma thesis is to introduce a rapid application development tool and production of a web application prototype with this tool. The prototype in this thesis is a simple help desk application, where the users submit requests about computers and computer programs. In this diploma thesis we first introduce software prototyping and rapid application development methodology and we explain why is the use of software prototypes important and how rapid application development is helping for building them. Next, we introduce the rapid application development tool called Iron Speed Designer and we describe its basic functionalities and gradually show the development of a help desk web application for the computer users, which evolved in this thesis. Then in the last part we list the tool advantages and disadvantages.
