Secondary title: Context-aware mobile application and the use of context server
Secondary abstract: The aim of the thesis was the design and creation of a context-aware mobile application for the purpose of developing and testing a context server. To achieve this goal, it was necessary to define context and context-dependency and become familiar with the concept of context-aware systems and the operations of a context server. A set of context-aware application tasks was defined, and on that basis, the requirements for the context-aware mobile application were established. It was necessary to get to know the Android operating system, Java and JavaScript programming languages, Highcharts charts library, and Eclipse development environment (including the ADT plugin). Using the aforementioned technologies, the context-dependent application was developed. A simple use case was devised to exemplify application usage. Finally, some possible improvements and opportunities for further development were given.
