Primerjava programskih rešitev za podporo planiranja projektov

Abstract

Projektno usmerjene organizacije za svoje poslovanje potrebujejo konkretne in učinkovite modele obravnavanja informacij. V preteklosti se je preizkusilo in izoblikovalo več pristopov upravljanja projektov. Moderna informacijska tehnologija omogoča širjenje ponudnikov programskih rešitev na področju upravljanja s projekti. V nalogi je predstavljena programska rešitev APM (Agito Project Management). Namen naloge je primerjava APM s programsko rešitvijo PWA (Project Web App). Obe rešitvi sledita istemu končnemu cilju. V preseku sta si rešitvi podobni in obe dobro opravljata svojo funkcijo podpore vodstvu pri spremljanju, planiranju in analiziranju poteka dela na projektih. Prednost PWA je zaključenost, komplek-snost in velik nabor osnovnih funkcionalnosti. Prednost APM pa je prilagodljivost, možnost nadgradnje, prilagajanje tržnim razmeram in servisna podpora direktno od razvijalca programa.

Secondary abstract:	Project oriented organizations require specific and efficient models of information manage-ment in order to conduct their business. In the past many project management approaches were developed and tested in practice. Modern information technology has allowed the spread of software solution providers in the project management field. This work presents the APM (Agito Project Management) solution in comparison with the PWA (Project Web App) solution. Both software solutions follow a common goal. Both solutions are similar in their respective intersecting functionalities. They provide good support for following, planning and analyzing project process to organizational management. PWA offers a complete and complex solution with a wide arrangement of functionalities. While APM excels in customization, upgradability, adaptability to the ever-changing market conditions and support directly from the solution developer.
