Abstract
Diplomsko delo z naslovom Vloga gozdnega vrtca pri motoričnem razvoju 2–3 leta starih otrok je sestavljena iz dveh delov. Prvi del je teoretični, kjer smo predstavili dejavnike, ki vplivajo na motorični razvoj, in kako se spremlja motoričen razvoj otrok. Predstavili smo program gozdnega vrtca, kaj je njegova vloga, ter Denverski razvojni presejalni test. Na koncu teoretičnega dela smo omenili in predstavili tudi dosedanje raziskave, ki so bile ugotovljene na podlagi dobrih praks s sodelovanjem gozdnega vrtca. Drugi del predstavlja empirično raziskavo, kjer smo ugotavljali razliko v motoričnem razvoju med dvema vrtcema – Vrtec Ravne na Koroškem, ki izvaja program gozdnega vrtca, in Vrtec Otona Župančiča Maribor, ki tega programa ne izvaja. Uporabili smo ne slučajnostni vzorec iz konkretne populacije 2–3 leta starih otrok. Na podlagi rezultatov, pridobljenih s pomočjo Denverskega razvojno presejalnega testa, smo ugotovili, da otroci, ki so vključeni v program gozdnega vrtca, dosegajo boljše rezultate Denverskega presejalnega testa kot otroci, ki v program gozdnega vrtca niso vključeni.

Secondary abstract: |
The diploma work titled "The Role of a Forest Kindergarten in the Motor Development of children aged 2–3 Years" is divided into two parts. The first part is the theoretical one, where we presented factors influencing motor development and discussed how to monitor children's motor development. We presented the Forest Kindergarten and explained its role, along with the Denver Developmental Screening Test. In the theoretical part, we also mentioned and presented previous research findings based on best practices in collaboration with the Forest Kindergarten. The second part of the assignment presents an empirical research, where we determined the difference in motor development between two kindergartens – Ravne na Koroškem, which implements the forest kindergarten program, and Oton Župančič kindergarten in Maribor, which does not implement this program. We used a non-random sample from a specific population of 2–3 years old children. Based on the results obtained with the Denver developmental screening test, it was found out that children who are included in the forest kindergarten program achieve better results on the Denver screening test than children who are not included in the forest kindergarten program. |
