Secondary abstract: | Energy efficiency in residential buildings is becoming increasingly important. Wellplanned insulation, heating, indoor environment, and ventilation design has a significant impact on the physical and mental well-being of occupants. The design of these also has an impact on the financial requirements of a building. Using Excel, we have calculated the heating load for a new single dwelling building. We presented the results of two different methods for calculating the heating load and the influence of thermal bridges. |
