Abstract

V zadnjem desetletju je prišlo do povečanega števila terorističnih napadov na globalni ravni. Zaradi tega je v zaključni nalogi raziskan odziv eksplozijsko obremenjenih stekel z uporabo programskega okolja LS-DYNA, katerega rezultati so bili primerjani na podlagi že izvedenih eksperimentov iz literature. Dva numerična modela: empirični Conwep model in SPH model sta raziskana s poudarkom na njuni natančnosti in učinkovitosti. Rezultati so pokazali, da imata oba numerična modela pomanjkljivosti, ampak sta še vedno uporabna za numerične simulacije eksplozijsko obremenjenih stekel.

Secondary abstract: In the last decade, there has been an increased number of terrorist attacks on a global scale. As a result, the response of blast-loaded glasses is explored in the thesis using the LS-DYNA software environment, with the results being compared to previously conducted experiments from the literature. Two numerical models, the empirical Conwep model and the SPH model, are investigated with an emphasis on their accuracy and efficiency. The results have shown that both numerical models have shortcomings but are still useful for numerical simulations of blast-loaded glasses.
