Abstract

Težke kovine dandanes predstavljajo eno izmed večjih problematik v mulju, kar se je potrdilo tudi v poplavah, ki so se zgodile v začetku avgusta, leta 2023. Namen diplomske naloge je bil preučiti možnost fiksacije 〖"Pb" 〗^"2+" ionov v mulju, z uporabo naravnega materiala klinoptilolita in prašnatega sintetičnega zeolita 4A. Da bi povečali učinek fiksacije, smo zeolit 4A modificirali s kislino. Po poplavah, ki so se zgodile, smo vzorčili naplavljen mulj. Pripravili smo osem paralelnih vzorcev. Polovico z mokrim muljem, drugo polovico pa s suhim, ki smo ga predhodno posušili in mu določili vlažnost. Referenčni material sta predstavljala neobdelan moker in suh mulj, v ostale vzorce mulja pa smo dodali klinoptilolit in pa obe vrsti zeolita 4A v točno določenem masnem razmerju v vodni raztopini. Fiksacijo 〖"Pb" 〗^"2+" ionov smo preučevali v času štirih mesecev. Merili smo vsebnost svinčevih ionov v neobdelanem mulju in v izbranih časovnih presledkih še v vseh pripravljenih vzorcih. Z dodatnimi analizami smo ugotavljali stabilnost obdelanih muljev in mobilnost 〖"Pb" 〗^"2+" ionov v mulju.

Secondary title: Study of metal fixation in soil with different adsorbents
Secondary abstract: The heavy metals in the silt represent one of the major problems nowadays, which was also confirmed by the flooding at the beginning of August 2023. The aim of the thesis was to investigate the possibility of fixing 〖"Pb" 〗^"2+" ions in silt by using, the natural material clinoptilolite and powdered synthetic zeolite 4A. In order to increase the fixation factor, zeolite 4A was modified with acid. After the flooding, the washed-up silt was sampled. Eight parallel samples were prepared. One half with wet silt, and the other half with dry silt, which we previously dried and determined the moisture content. The reference material was untreated wet and dry sludge, to the other sludge samples we added clinoptilolite and both types of zeolites 4A in a precisely defined mass ratio in an aqueous solution. The fixation of 〖"Pb" 〗^"2+" ions was studied over a period of four months. We measured the content of 〖"Pb" 〗^"2+" ions in the untreated silt and at selected time intervals in all prepared samples. Additional analysis were used to determine the stability of the treated silt and the mobility of 〖"Pb" 〗^"2+" ions in the silt.
