Abstract

Secondary title: Agent-based modeling of the spread of infectious diseases
Secondary abstract: The thesis focuses on the development and testing of an agent-based model for simulating the spread of infectious diseases. Due to the relevance of infectious disease modeling, we have developed a tool that allows researchers to gain a deep understanding of this complex subject. The described simulation model was developed with the aim of enabling the understanding of the dynamics of infectious disease spread. The model is designed to be intuitive to use and allows for broad adaptability. Users can set various simulation parameters, which enables the model to be tailored to the specific needs of the research. This provides the user with complete control over the specifics of individual diseases and the specifics of agents within the simulation space. The model interface provides insights into the simulation process and data collection, which is exported into a structured file for further analysis after the simulation is
